2022-23 Topps Chrome Bundesliga case
I've never bought a case of product. Getting one hobby box alone can cost a few hundred bucks plus, let alone getting a case of 12 of them. However, I saw that Dave and Adams had a blowout on their 2022-23 Topps Chrome Bundesliga cases and decided tbe price was so discounted that I may as well take a shot. Bundesliga product isn't as coveted of course due to fewer people watching the German league as opposed to the Premier League in England or La Liga in Spain. Therefore, product can sit for a bit and not be bought which I'm assuming is what happened here. Anyway, not only was it discounted like 70%, I also got $25 off beyond that and did not have to pay shipping or tax. Essentially each hobby box ended up costing me $30. To compare, a blaster box from Target or Walmart costs $30 and you don't get any guarantees. These hobby boxes come with one auto per box plus three numbered cards. You will also get one case hit and two semi case hits. Due to the rookie class being just okay and the limited amount of huge legends on the autograph checklist, the ceiling for the product is probably low. Here are the 12 autos I pulled.
The obvious best autograph was the Jamal Musiala numbered to 99. He's a superstar in the game. The second best card was the Randal Kolo Muani rookie auto numbered to 25. The next biggest name was the Josko Gvardiol even though it isn't numbered. Anyone that starts for Manchester City has to be a great player. The positive on the whole is that 10 of the 12 autos were numbered. A lot of them are also rookie card autographs. The bummer is that other than the three mentioned, the only other three players I really recognized were Nmecha, Sow, and Yoshida.
I also got ripped off one semi case hit, so I've already put a claim on with Topps. The 36 numbered parallels I got weren't great and none of them were numbered lower than 25. All in all I do think I surpassed the total value of what I spent but that's probably mostly since the case was so cheat. It took me three hours to open it all and I had a great time doing so.
