Opening 2024-25 Topps Chrome UEFA Club Competitions Jumbo Box

I splurged on a new product release recently and ordered myself a jumbo hobby box of 2024-25 Topps Chrome UEFA Club Competitions, which is one of the best soccer products of the year. Jumbo boxes come with three autos guaranteed plus a lot of numbered parallels, so the hit ratio is very high and you can pull some very valuable cards from the product.

I ended up pulling an absolute banger of an auto on my third auto. I got one of the chase rookies (chase rookie meaning most sought after in the set) Ethan Nwaneri of Arsenal, on an auto parallel that seems to be a fan favorite, the Blake Lazer Auto. It is a black lazer gold parallel numbered /50.

This Nwaneri auto easily covers the cost of the box and probably actually doubles to triples it. That is how big of a hit this card is and if the kid continues on his trajectory, we could be talking an even bigger value.

I also hit a numbered auto of one of the players from my favorite club, Liverpool. This Harvey Elliott auto is of purple an numbered /75. I will take a Liverpool auto any day of the week so two of the three autos in my box were very good.

I'm not going to say the third autograph was a miss because it is a rookie auto and it is numbered /250 but I am not sure who George Ilenkhena is. He plays for Monaco so that might be part of the problem but a google search says he is a highly talented young player. If he develops into a star then I would have gone three for three from an autograph standpoint.
Lasty, this isn't an autograph but one of the numbered cards I pulled was of global sensation Lamine Yamal. This is a second year rookie all star cup card, so not as coveted as a rookie but still holds value to Yamal collectors. This parallel is numbered /199 and continues my run of Lamine Yamal luck. I now have 28 rookie cards of this kid including an autograph and now this numbered 2nd year card. Onward and upwards for him as he is arguably the most talented player on the planet and just 17 years old.
My review of this product is that if you're a soccer fan, buy it. If you can spoil yourself a little and extend for a jumbo box, do it. The cards are great quality and from what I see on YouTube, the jumbos are stuffed with big hits. I am convinced that soccer cards are the most bang for your buck on the market. The auto checklist on Topps Chrome is filled with global stars.
