Huge Christmas Pull! Patrick Mahomes

Anyone that has read my blog before probably figured that I'd be posting about some product I ripped over Christmas, and they'd be correct in their assumption. I mentioned a few weeks ago that Panini Revolution had "premium" boxes only available through Walmart.com. I also mentioned at the time that, for me, it was the product of the year. These boxes were absolutely loaded with numbered cards /99 or better, and you're guaranteed one auto pee box. They were essentially hobby boxes masquerading as retail, but for half the cost. My wife took advantage before they sold out and ordered me a couple more of them for Christmas. Neither box was particularly spectacular like the first two until out of nowhere I hit arguably my biggest autograph pull to date in second box.

As you can see, I pulled a Patrick Mahomes autograph, and it is really low numbered /15. It is just a ginormous card to get, arguably the biggest chase card in the entire set. Not only does this card clearly jump to number one of my biggest pulls in 2025 which I'll be posting soon (spoiler alert), it may very well be number one ever.

In a bit of counterintuitiveness, I knew the first box wasn't going to be a great box because I actually pulled two autographs. Weird, right? Well, having watched 50 plus boxes of this product being opened, it does seem like boxes that give you the extra autograph are usually making up for not having a geeat box overall, and the autographs themselves tend to be less coveted. That being said, I'm definitely happy with the Carl Eller pull /199 since he stopped signing through the mail and I wasn't able to get his autograph in my collection that way. The other autograph was Patriots receiver Kayshon Boutte /199, a solid if unspectacular receiver.

The numbered cards I got in both boxes weren't really anything to write home about this time either, which is completely opposite of my first two boxes from earlier this month.

As you can see from the photo above, my wife hooked it up for me this year. In addition to the two Revolution boxes, I also got a La Liga Select hobby box as well as a Prizm World Cup hobby box. Merry Christmas to me this year!  🎄
