Massive Break Haul and I went to the World Cup!

The last ten days is probably the best luck I've had yet in terms of hitting really good autographs multiple times and without spending ridiculous sums of money. While celebrating my wife and I's anniversary, we were having really good luck at a casino and I wanted to see if that would translate into my breaks luck. Spoiler alert: It did. I hit a Marks of Excellence on card autograph of Andriy Shevchecnko /50 in one break where I took AC Milan for like $35. I don't have that card in hand yet so will post it whyen I do. I also took Liverpool in a break where they were auctioned off and I got them for $47. I hit two massive autographs for my collection, one a red refractor autograph numbered 4/5 of Liverpool legend Fernando Torres. This card is worth likely over $800.

In that same break, I hit long time chase and top three Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish in an orange /25.

Dalglish is a rare autograph to hit and I don't think I've ever seen his autograph come out of a break I was watching, of which those would number in the hundreds.

Last weekend I also jumped on an auction where Bayern Munich was run and sold for less than half their normal going rate. I hit five numbered cards and this Philipp Lahm orange auto /25. I didn't have Lahm yet in my collection so was happy about this hit.

All three of these autographs, as well as the Marks of Excellence Shevchenko, are going in my main legends case, which shows how high my luck was in that short amount of time. It's hard to crack that case at this point, with some of my icon autographs being relegated to my second case. I did hit two AS Roma autographs too as I was chasing a Francesco Totti auto. I did not get a Totti, but received a Paulo Dybala /99 autograph as well as an Evan Ferguson base auto.

I also jumped in on a "Liverpool others" break spot for $60, which meant no Rio Ngumoha, no Mo Salah, no Sadio Mane, no Steven Gerrad, and no Bobby Firmino. It was still a good break as I got two current Liverpool players in Hugo Ekitike /199 as well as Jeremie Frimpong /250. I already had an Ekitike autograph but did not have Frimpong yet.

I also had an amazing day with my 19 year old son at the FIFA World Cup. We attended the Spain vs Austria game yesterday in Los Angeles and it was a wonderful experience. I had yet to attend anything at SoFi stadium and for my first event there to be a World Cup match featuring Lamine Yamal and a lot of great Spain players, well.....I'm happy I did not sell the tickets for a huge profit. Spain won 3-0 and my son and I walked away with memories of a lifetime. The World Cup has been awesome, and in my opinion, it was something this country needed. Soccer is really a great sport and I wish more Americans would figure that out.
